BeforeYour Scheduled Visit

  1. All frequently touched areas are disinfected per use. This includes, but is not limited to, pens, clipboards, phones, keyboards, countertops, door handles, and any other items that get touched frequently.
  2. We use EPA-approved disinfectants per CDC guidelines.
  3. All staff are fully equipped with PPE. This includes gowns, masks, eye protection and gloves. Front office staff are wearing masks.
  4. Protective shields are installed at the front desk.
  5. Staff temperatures are taken daily. Once entering the building we check the temperature and complete a health screening log daily. If any staff member experiences any signs or symptoms of COVID-19, they are required to stay at home and are encouraged to see their doctor for testing.
  6. Administering phone screenings before your visit. We are asking COVID-19 screening questions over the phone before patients come in for their appointment.

Our Sterilization Standards

We have a dedicated sterilization station featuring the latest innovative technology to keep our instruments clean and ready to use for your next visit. We also have a dedicated area in our lobby for patients to sanitize and disinfect their hands upon entry, as well as offer a handwashing station.

DuringYour Scheduled Visit

  1. Practicing safe social distancing in office. We require each patient to call from the parking lot once they arrive for their appointment.
  2. Allowing no more than 2-3 families in our waiting room. Upon completion of the patient forms, including the COVID-19 screening form and measurement of the family members’ temperatures, we recommend that they sanitize their hands before coming back into the dental chair.
  3. Only one parent/guardian per family, when possible, are allowed in the office, in order to limit numbers in the office.
  4. All rooms are sanitized before and after each patient. We have added more time to our appointments to allow for dental assistants and staff to disinfect and sanitize.
  5. All tools and instruments are sanitized before and after each patient. All instruments used in patients’ mouths are cleaned and sterilized in an autoclave before use.
  6. All staff are prepared with PPE. During heavy aerosol generated procedures, expect our team to be wearing KN95 masks, protective eyewear, disposal gowns, gloves, face shield, and hair covering/surgical hats.
